About Jobumi
A clearer first impression than a résumé alone
Jobumi was created in Montréal around a simple idea: people and workplaces deserve to be understood before the first interview.
Our mission
Traditional hiring often reduces a person to keywords and a workplace to a paragraph. Jobumi adds short video introductions so candidates can communicate their experience and employers can show the opportunity and environment more clearly.
Our goal is not to replace thoughtful hiring. It is to give both sides better context earlier in the process.
Why video
A short introduction can communicate clarity, motivation, and working style that are difficult to express in a conventional résumé. Candidates remain in control of what they publish, and employers remain responsible for fair, lawful decisions.
How Jobumi works
Candidates create profiles with experience, skills, and optional video. Employers create company spaces and job offers, review applications, collaborate with authorized team members, and communicate with candidates.
Matching and résumé-processing tools help organize relevant information. They support people; they do not make hiring decisions for them.
Built in Montréal
Jobumi is built for a bilingual community and for the realities of hiring in Québec. We are continuing to improve the platform with feedback from candidates and employers using it in real workflows.
